Trucks Galore!

Last night on the 26th of March me and my family also joined by my uncle and aunty who came down to Kuala Lumpur for the holidays went to a famous spot called 'Tapak' which is loated in our lovely city Kuala Lumpur. So this is actually a large space or as you can say a spot of land that is filled with foodtrucks with different types of food.

As you can see at the second picture, it shows that this place has a cool vibe and the atmosphere of the place is super relaxing and at the same time you get to chill and get good food. The food selection I would varies and you would never get enough and would also have a very hard time choosing on what to eat.

Tapak does not just have foodtrucks that sell food but they also have foodtrucks that sell amazing drinks. One of the foodtruck was selling this delicious mango drinks and it was super delicious and you can tell that it was made full with love.

This foodtruck truck was what I got for my dinner and they served foods on the Mexican side like quesadillas, burritos, chili fries and more goodness. You could choose up to six fillings and it was actually difficult for me to choose the burrito or the quesadillas but I ended up getting the quesadillas with the black pepper beef. Its also served with a side of cheese sauce and also lettuce to balance out the meal.

The picture on the bottom of the quesadillas was what my mother ate and it was the usual 'Nasi Bujang' which Is just rice and fried chicken with some vegetables. But this 'Nasi Bujang' has a twist to it. Its topped of with a little of their special sauce which adds the spicyness level up high. Meanwhile next to it is a Vietnamese roll which is just some vegetables and shrimp rolled up together served up with some peanut sauce and also a spicy honey sauce.

Not only you get to eat food in a fun open space but the view was amazing. While we ate we saw one part of the KL Twin Tower and that was the highlight of the day. My family don't usually visit the city because we're always in Subang Jaya or Shah Alam. So this was a nice break to end the holidays.

My midterm break spent well with my family. We went to Cameron Highland for 2 days and 1 night. It's been a long time since our last vacation and finally we make it. We're having a precious time for being together.

On Saturday morning, we started our journey about 8.00 a.m from Klang and arrives at 12.30. While waiting for check in hotel at 2pm we went to Ladang Teh.  After check in and lunch, my family and I were going to strawberry farm and we did bought some strawberry there. After that, we're also going to Kee Farm Market, and night market in Brinchang.

The temperature is about 16 degree there. It's such a lovely weather. For the next day (Sunday), before checkout at 12 pm we 're having breakfast at Tanah Rata. After done with the breakfast, we packed our stuff and checked out from our hotel. The next place we'd visit is a bee farm, rose valley and last but not least lavender garden.

Family Time

For a our week off on our mid term holiday I did not really have anywhere to go or go back to my hometown since I don't really have one. So my family and I decided to go to our weekly badminton place in Kota Damansara for our weekly badminton/exercise session.

Badminton always happens on Friday nights from 9-11pm and we would always take 2 courts since its not just the three of us and also some of our close family friends. Since I play the sport tenpin bowling, and my parents don't really bowls so badminton is one of our activities together to spend time together.

As you can tell I was still wearing my training shirt because I was from my training session in Sunway Pyramid. And it has always been the three of use because my sister got married around a year ago.

Whenever we play, its always doubles or mixed doubles and it's very fun because its so much different than bowling so its like an escape for me from bowling and it helps us to maintain and makes us fit.

Steaks

Mr. Steakhouse in Section 13 is a cheaper version of a really good western food that. It is affordable and hits your taste buds. I ordered my favourite black pepper beef steak which was only RM 16.90. The price is so reasonable for two pieces of beef steaks with a side of coleslaw, baked beans a bun and also baked potato which is smothered with black pepper sauce. This is definitely  good western place to get western food.

My twitter my life

By Teha in March 25, 2016

Twitter is an application that allows people to communicate and stay connected with each other through the exchange of quick, frequent messages. Twitter users may tweet their photos, video or any of their status that not exceeding 140 characters in one post These messages are posted to their profile, sent to their follower and are searchable on Twitter search. Twitter contains a follower, following, direct message, likes, and home timeline .

When following someone means we're ready to subscribe their updates and tweets. Every time they post a new tweet, it will appear in our home timeline. The person we followed also able to send us direct message. While followers, they are people who follow us and receive our tweets. If someone follows us, they will appear in our follower list and can see our updates whenever they log in onto their account.

The reason why i love twitter is because it can be an up to date news to all twitter user where they have a 'Trending Now' section. It identifies the popular topic now  rather than topics that have been popular for a while or on a daily basis, to help users discover the hottest emerging topics of discussion on Twitter.

In Twitter we have 'retweet' as a sign of sharing someone's tweet to our followers. The power of retweet can let things goes viral instantly all over the world. It can be retweet or quote tweet.Sometimes people type RT at the begining of a tweet to indicate they're reposting someone else content.

Then, it's about like in twitter. Likes are represented by a small heart and are used to show appreciation for a tweet. it can be viewed on any account by tapping at their profile.

I love twitter very much because it is one of my favorite place where i  can express my feeling by tweeting it without anyone judging. It's also makes me connected with strangers and become a friend in social media. Twitter is one of my daily-open-application.

Broga hiking

By Teha on March 22, 2017

On 20 March 2017, me and chaca went to Broga hills. We depart from Shah Alam at 4.30 a.m and arrives at 5.45. We starts climb up and manage to get to top of hills with only 1 hrs duration. After take a rest on the top and see the sun rise. Unfortunately the sun rise last less than half an hour and it start to raining there. Here some info about the Broga Hills.

Bukit Broga, also known as 'Bukit Lalang' - after the local species of grass that grows abundantly here, is a hill in Semenyih, at 400 meters high and 40 minutes away from Kuala Lumpur on the trunk road to Broga. It can be reached a short distance later after University of Nottingham, where the entrance starts at left from an oil palm estate opposite a rabbit park.

Famed for its incredibly panoramic views (especially at dawn) along with easy  accessibility on foot, the hill is a popular tourist attraction among locals; the estate owner cashes on the glut of visitors during weekends and public holidays by charging MYR2 per vehicle that parks on his grounds.

From the peak, visitors get a spacious view of the plains, coated by a mixture of rainforest, oil palm plantations, villages and towns, along with distant mountains. At dawn, mist rising from the ground from the warmth of the sun envelops the landscape in a carpet of white, evoking a surreal atmosphere. The hike while steep is relatively easy, taking anywhere between 20 and 45 minutes to reach the highest peak depending on one's fitness level, or photo stops.

There are three peaks in total, each one ascends above the other through a clear path fringed by tall grass at each side. From the summit, a proper jungle trail leads through primary rainforest to Gunung Tok Wan (675 meters), a roughly one and a half hour hike on meandering slopes.

Me and Chaca going up and down without any injuries. We both climbed down with just only 20 minutes. We washed up on the foothills and driving back home at 9.00 a.m. Before that, we are uaving a nasi lemak for breakfast at the mamak stall located at the small town near the hiking place. Then we driving back to shah alam and hit the sack.

Assalamualaikum and hi. So today noh nak share my short trip story dekat Port Dickson. Short vacation with my only bff Cik Anggun. Planning last minit to Lexis Hibicus Port Dickson. My Seoul

The place that serves this is called Mr. Dakgalbi. And it's the nearest thing to the real authentic korean food in malaysia you can get. I go here to cover my cravings and also whenever i miss visiting Korea. That right there is the normal Chicken Dakgalbi also with the cheese ring and its filled with ramen noodles and much more.

Dakgalbi is a dish that is basically stir fried chicken. It has chicken, potatoes, cabbage, rice cake and also onions. You can add on cheese or ramen noodles and also squids or any ingredients of your liking. Also what makes this dish a specialty is that it brings together a family while eating because you will be sharing and  that is what makes it special. Mr. Dakgalbi is definitely a family restaurant and even kids will enjoy. The spicy level is just right and also this is a place that can introduce to people on Korean food.

Jalan Tiung's Cake

Cake Jalan Tiung definitely covers the crave of sweets oh for some ladies that time of the month. They have tons of good cakes to choose from. They also have pavlova's which are topped of with super fresh fruits. And what makes them so good is that the level of sweetness is just perfect and its not too sweet. They're located in a few areas in Kuala Lumpur but i swang by the nearest store i could find which was just a smaller shop in Section 13, Shah Alam.

Get Fueled Up!

100%  Pure Australian Grown Beef is a way to go. Fuel Shack located in Shah Alam's Aeon Mall in Section 13 serves up some of the most juiciest and fresh burgers there is in the Klang Valley. They have got a variety of things to choose, from the original burgers to hot dogs and they also have their wraps. It was my first time try the burgers at Fuel Shack and i had quite high expectations for them.

I had the Blue Cheese Deluxe because one, i am a cheese lover. I love all types of cheese and i just wanted to try something different just because i have always had normal sliced cheddar cheese almost on all burgers. The texture of the cheese was creamy, it had that tangy signature flavor of the blue cheese which weirdly goes well with the burger. I do not recommend to people whom don't really like unusual cheese because they might not be able to handle the taste. But for me it was quite nice and i definitely enjoyed the burger.

Also the burger comes also with a set of your choice. Whether it's fries with juice or fires with milkshake. For me it was the milkshake of course. The milkshake balanced out the meal and it was really good. The price for the meal was a bit on the expensive side, but it goes well with what you are getting. It also makes you feel like you are eating a meal in a different country.

Picnic Like Dinner

On the 4th of March we had a picnic like dinner at a restaurant in Section 13, Shah Alam called The Sumbs which serves fusion foods that were cheap and at the same time super good. What was so interesting and made it feel like a picnic was the fact that all the foods are served in boxes which is a very cool idea and and sort of a fresh concept.

Besides that the food was pretty good too. They food that they serve are quite different compared to normal cafes out there. I had the Creamy Spicy Scallop Pasta which was served with dumplings that added a little bit of chinese taste to the italian pasta. And also the fact that even the simple Teh Ais was so good and creamy. In other words it was just super delicious. I definitely recommend this place as it's affordable for students considering the taste and fun concept. And looking at the crowd, it certainly shows that it is a must to try out.
